Une Vie En Rose – Terms & Conditions
ARTICLE 1 – CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
a) Check In
Guest Rooms & The Cottage
• Check in between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
• Beyond 7.00pm, please let us know on the day of your booking.
• Should you wish to arrive earlier on the day of your arrival, please let us know at least 48 hours beforehand to make sure that we can be present to welcome you and that your Suite can be ready. We will do our best to meet your requirements subject to availability on our side.
The Cottage: Inventory & key handover
• Inventory: We hand over the keys after an inventory on the day of your arrival.
• Cautionary Deposit: A €200 deposit will be requested upon your arrival and will be returned to you in whole after the inventory has been checked or with deductions for the repair of any damage caused during the rental period.
In which case, we will issue an invoice and the deposit will be returned partially or not depending on the amount of the invoice.
b) Check Out
• Guest Rooms
• Check out : 11.00am.
• The Cottage: Inventory & key handover
• Check out: 11.00am. Please allow 15 minutes before checking out for the inventory.
• The €200 deposit will be returned to you in whole after the inventory has been checked or with deductions for the repair of any damage caused during the rental period. In which case, we will issue an invoice and the deposit will be returned partially or not depending on the amount of the invoice.
• Cleaning at the end of your stay is included in the price. Nevertheless, we thank you for taking care of the premises. Should the Cottage be in an unacceptable state of cleanliness upon your departure, we will charge you an extra €50 for the cost of additional cleaning.
NB: We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are not a hotel and that outside the check in and check out hours, we may not be at home. Thank you for your understanding.
ARTICLE 2 – BOOKING POLICY
a) The Guest Rooms
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
b) The Cottage
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
ARTICLE 3 – ABSENCE OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
For bookings by mail, telephone or internet, the client does not benefit from a right to
withdraw, this is in accordance with Article L121-21-8 12° of the French Consumer
Code with regard in particular to lodging services.
ARTICLE 4 – CANCELLATION POLICY
A cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
a) Guest Rooms & The Cottage
• Cancellation notified by email or mail received more than 21 days before the date of your arrival:
• We refund the whole amount paid at the time of booking.
• Cancellation notified by email or mail received between 5 and 21 days before the date of your arrival:
• We keep 30% of the amount paid at the time of booking.
• Cancellation notified by email or mail received less than 5 days before the day of your arrival or in case of No Show:
• We keep the whole amount paid at the time of booking.
• If for any reason you decide to short cut your stay, no refund will be made for any unused part of your holiday (except in duly justified cases of force majeure).
• If for any reason we cancel your booking, we refund the whole amount paid at the time of the booking.
ARTICLE 5 – USE OF THE PREMISES
You should ensure the peaceful character of the rental and only use it in accordance
with the intended purposes of the premises. You accept and agree to use the room in
good faith. Furthermore, any inappropriate behavior will lead us to ask you to leave
the establishment immediately without any compensation.
ARTICLE 6 – DAMAGE
Should any damage occur – breakage, stains, etc., please inform us as soon as possible, especially if you spill coffee or tea. It is easier to clean when we know what it is and can react quickly. We will not charge breakage in general except if the cost of repair is significant.
ARTICLE 7 – INSURANCE
• Booking: A cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
• Third party liability: You are responsible for any damage that may be caused by you. We politely recommend you take Travel Insurance that will cover any breakages during your stay.
ARTICLE 8 – PHOTOGRAPHS
The photographs displayed on our booking platform are not contractual.
ARTICLE 9 – POND
We would like to draw your attention to the presence of a pond on the property. We kindly ask you to be vigilant should you stay at Une Vie en Rose with young children.
ARTICLE 10 – CHANGE OF ROOM
If for any reason beyond our control, the reserved room(s) cannot be made available
to you, we reserve the right to substitute comparable room(s).
ARTICLE 11 – ANIMALS
Animals are not allowed on the premises for everybody’s comfort and the welfare of
persons with allergies.
ARTICLE 12 – OUR GUEST HOUSE IS STRICTLY NON-SMOKING
